Section 125 Flexible Spending Plan

Our Section 125 Plan includes several components. The Tax-Saver Plan enables you to utilize pre-tax dollars to make premium contributions for your health and dental coverage. This reduces your contribution amount by federal, state and social security taxes.

  • Our Flexible Spending Plan, which employees may participate in on a voluntary basis, enables you to pay for dependent care and certain unreimbursed medical and dental expenses on a pre-tax basis. This means that federal, state and social security taxes would not be charged to the amount that you elect to contribute to the Flexible Spending Plan, which reduces your actual costs by the amount of the taxes.
  • To be eligible to participate, you must have completed 90 days of service and be a full-time employee. You may contribute up to $2,000 for unreimbursed medical care, and $5,000 for dependent care per plan year. The amount you elect to contribute will be reduced from your salary each pay period.
